Rules and Regulations 2020
1. Fees should be paid on the first class of each month. The monthly fee should be paid in full, regardless of how many classes a student attends.
2. All fees paid are not transferrable to any other month or person and cover the month stated on the receipt. Every student who pays the fee to HLS takes responsibility to attend their lessons.
3. Fees are not refundable, only under exceptional circumstances.
4. We will try to offer replacement classes to those who inform us early, but this may not always be possible when classes are fully booked. Please note replacement classes are only conducted on the same week as the missed class. It remains your responsibility to attend your scheduled class.
5. Any student who fails to attend classes for one month without informing us will lose their place.
6. New students should pay one month fee plus one month deposit in advance of their first lesson, which will begin on the first week of the next month. The payment of the fee will confirm their place in the class. The deposit is not refundable but can be used for a student's final month of classes before stopping class.
7. If a student wishes to stop lessons for a month or more, half month fees should be paid on the first week of each month in order to keep their place in the class.
8. If HLS cancels a class, we will arrange a replacement on the next 5th week or as soon as possible.
9. Fees may be subject to change as increased numbers of students, supplies and utility costs occur. If there are changes to the fees, they will be announced in November/December and enforced in January. This information will be posted on our facebook page (HLS English Classes Kuantan) and website (www.hornelearningservices.blogspot.com) and sent via whatsapp message and SMS to all students and/or parents. It is the responsibility of parents/students to take note of the amendment in fees and any other general notices passed on via whatsapp or SMS.
