Guild Exam Awards 2019

At Guild Awards Ceremony with examiner from Australia, Helen Little, and my students Choi Yan and Abby, who both scored the highest marks in Malaysia for their English Communication exam categories

I travelled to KL for the latest Guild Exam Awards Ceremony, which was held on 24th November, 2019. The venue was The Gardens Mall. It was terribly exciting to be there with our students and to see them be awarded for excelling in their English Communication exams. 

Helen Little was the lady who examined them in 2017 and 2018, so it was great to see her once more and celebrate the moment with her.

I also received an award for Horne Learning Services for our continued partnership with Guild Exam over the years.

X is for Xenodocheionology

There is only one 'X' word that lists as a favourite, and that is 'xenodocheionology' - the love of hotels.

What a great word! I do love hotels. We spend a night at a hotel as often as we can. I love being served once in a while, enjoying the quality of the hotel, and being away from the usual routines of home for a day or two.
