English Workshop 1st September, 2012

Our 3rd English Workshop of the year was a success and was attended by 32 children over 3 sessions. Vistana Hotel provided the setting for us, with a nice Function Room and some good refreshments.

The agenda for the Workshop included:

• Ice-breaking
• Pictionary
• Boggle
• Speech
• Listening Test
• Treasure Hunt

The children really enjoyed themselves. This time we gave everyone individual points for how well they performed on each task. 

At the end of each Workshop the points were totalled and a winner declared. So here are the three winners:

2nd English Workshop @ Vistana Hotel Kuantan

Horne Learning Services hosted its second English Workshop at Vistana Hotel in Kuantan in May 2012.

Over 30 children from ages 4-17 attended one of three sessions on Saturday 26th May, 2012.

The English Workshop consisted of various exercises including pictionary, creative writing, a spelling test and a treasure hunt. The feedback from the students was very positive. The treasure hunt was a particular highlight!

There will be an English Workshop for school children aged 4 to 17 years old, on Saturday 26th May, 2012 at Vistana Hotel Kuantan. The Workshop will run for 2 & 1/2 hours (150 minutes).

English Workshop @ Vistana Hotel

We are pleased to report that the English Workshop held at Vistana Hotel on Saturday 10th March, 2012, was a big success.

This was Horne Learning Services' first function and it was attended very well by 50 students over the course of the day.

We held three sessions, beginning at 9am, 1pm and 4pm, each lasting for two and a half hours, including English speaking activities, grammar exercises, spelling test, wordsearch and a treasure hunt.
