Obganiate

Welcome to the A-Z April blogging challenge. We are participating with a daily dose of vocabulary by selecting an unusual word and making a sentence with it.

OBGANIATE

- to irritate someone by constantly repeating oneself

Gerrie Nel (pictured) is the South African lawyer prosecuting in the Oscar Pistorius murder trial. He is known as the 'pitbull' for his aggressive tactics in the courtroom. I was watching a session recently, so when I came across the word 'obganiate', I immediately thought of Nel! He's very clever and repeats certain points over and over again. It's taking a lot of patience on Pistorius' part.

Can you make a sentence with this word?

I'll have to try to remember this word. Unfortunately, due to my forgetfulness, I'm being a repeater, too. It is driving my husband crazy! He does it, too, but it doesn't generally bother me when he does.

Thanks for the new word.

Have a blessed Easter weekend.

Love this word! I do this sometimes on purpose in my classroom... it annoys the students, but also gets their attention, and we all have a good laugh about how annoying I am =)

His obganiate banter made me want to tear my hair out.

There you have it, a sentence. Great word!

Well ... that is a mighty big word and I'd obganiate that I cannot use it correctly. :)

My son at times obganiates me when he is obsessed in finding out about something. I wonder how to make him less irritating..

Interesting word. Infact it can easily relate to my son. At times he does obganiate me if he is obsessed in finding out about something! ...
